Prayer to St.Anne

“St. Anne, St. Anne, give me a man to be my husband…” sister luz shared this short prayer for me to try it and to see if it works.i tried it the other night but I’m not sure if it works. i’m keeping my fingers crossed. haha.(asa ka pa!?!)i spent my Sunday afternoon with jasmine and sister luz chatting at the park.we talked about jasmine’s decision in joining the congregation,Q&A portion, doona’s wedding, we talked about love, admirers,crushes and me meeting boice.haha.it was a funny Sunday afternoon. we sat at the park and it was the perfect venue for chatting.i love the view plus the fresh air and the sunset.i just couldn’t get enough of it.

me,my sis aden and bros elvin,warren and john ate out last Sunday at kan-anan by the sea.the food was great.we were talking about my friend who decided join the RVM sisters.chika-chika lang and then it came to a point when my younger bro asked me if I would also do the same.i laughed.and then my older bro said,” nah, most unlikely nga magmadre.” hahaha… am i?is it true?gotta find out why…

1.1 the night that was

I don’t know how to describe what I felt at that time but my heart was really beating fast.it happened after the wedding on our way home.haay…terrible… that was around 11:30pm.I didn’t know what to do…I wanted to run and report it to the police but I’m afraid. We happened to meet 3guys on our way home and they were mad. They are ready to fight.uhm…never mind… it was strange...gotta keep it to myself. i thought the night would end up with a bloody fight. Thank God…no one got hurt. praise God...no fight took place.we were still able to go home safely.i'm really thankful it got resolved.

girl meets boice

i met someone new last Saturday,he was the friend of my friend’s hubby.he came all the way from cebu to attend his friend’s wedding. I saw him at the church,he got my attention because of his outfit.i liked the laidback style.i was supposed to go home early after the wedding because I was scheduled to watch my batchmates play basketball.(I just wanna shout…shot..)me and my friends LA and jasmine decided to watch the game.well…that was around 7:30 so we decided to bid goodbye to the newlywed doona but she won’t allow us to go because she wanted to spend some time with us. ok..there we go.we stayed and pinagbigyan ang bagong kasal.my friend melody was telling me,”hala...ipaila-ila gyud ka karon diha.” And i was like,”duh..”I didn’t mind what she said and we just laughed. I totally forgot that metrosexual guy I saw at the church because I was chasing after a beautiful moon.i didn’t recognize I was being followed by a patient little cloud.I enjoyed chatting with my friends but was also making palusot that we could go na.nope,it never happened.and then, my friend was telling me that he’s gonna introduce me to someone but I didn’t mind.the next thing I know,I was talking to one of his friends. the guy was nice and cool. the conversation went so smooth and we had a funny conversation, it’s not the corny and boring conversation but I guess he got intimidated by me.haha.one of the funniest lines was this:

guy: can I have your number?

me: nope…sorry,I don’t text.you’ll hate me because I seldom text.

guy: it’s ok.i won’t text.i’ll call.

me: owh, guba akong phone(it’s true)

guy: I’m gonna buy you one.

then I laughed.it was like”did I hear it right?”.i'm not gonna give in to that.well, I shared that line with my friends and they were like…”cge,go…” hahaha… and then my friend was telling me that we looked good together,this and that. well,well,well… finally they found someone new to pair me with. i’m not anymore stucked with the old loveteams they used to tease me with.. haha. eww…

doona’s wedding

One of the reasons I went home was to attend my friend’s wedding.she got married last Saturday and it was a blast.i was the earliest to arrive at the church.i wonder if there was a prize for that.the ceremony was scheduled to start at 2pm but the priest came late.haay..buti nalang gwapo siya.it was worth the long wait.i was the psalmist so I needed to pa-cute.haha…everything went out well.the couple with their two angels looked great and it was picture-perfect.my friends were there and I enjoyed the chika madness.haha.

talisayan escapade

I went home last Thursday and i enjoyed my stay there.it was fun. before I went home I listed the things I missed about talisayan but I was not able to fulfill those things.ahh…but it’s ok coz i gained more than what I missed.

1. food. finally,lutong-bahay was served.
2. sipaka. gotta check it out this holy week..
3. beach. I went to kalamkam coz the reception of the wedding was held there. Unfortunately,I was not able to go swimming because something came up.it’s a girl thing.
4. TV. I never had the chance to watch tv. I was too busy.
5. chika galore. updates,updates,updates... I had a lot of them.
6. makeover sessions. Nuh..never did it.i just dressed up for the wedding.
7. cassava madness. Gotta try this out next time.
8. kan-anan by the sea. I love their food.my brother treated us for lunch there.it was perfect.
9. lipunan. Of course,I did.bisan init basta lipunan.bahalag mahangin sa labas.haha.
10. buko. Gotta have this next time around.
11. cooking. Well,I was the cook at home.just ask my bro if the food tastes good.
12. sunday mass. I was able to hear mass twice but I didn’t hear the song “catch me I’m collin”.haha.it was nice seeing the people around.
13. basketball. I wasn’t able to able watch my batchmates play basketball because I was out there busy talking to B… haha.nope…it was doona’s wedding and she asked to stay.
14. bumming around. I had 60% of it.

going home

i'm finally going home tonight and here are the things that i miss most.the list goes on;

1. sipaka. it is the trademark of talisayan...i've been on top of it and it feels great up there.freshest air and you can touch the untouchable clouds.got it?haha.. gotta check it out this holy week..
2. beach. i'm a water baby and i really love the beach so much... kalamkam here i come..
3. TV. ohw, at least i could have the chance to update myself on what's happening around.i've never watched tv for three months or more now.it's hard to give up my tv addiction.i was a couch potato.
4. chika galore. updates,updates,updates...i love to chichat and i've been missing a lot of updates.
5. makeover sessions. i miss our makeover sessions with my sis.it's a girl thing and it's fun being a girl.
6. cassava madness. i love to eat bulanghoy especially with bagoong then a few good laugh with my batchmates.
7. kan-anan by the sea. they serve the best sutukil.i miss their mouth-watering foods.plus the view is nice.
8. lipunan. yeah,honestly i just miss bagong lipunan bus.haha..i'm sure if one of my friends reads this,they will surely laugh.
9. buko. i haven't done pamutong for a long time now.how i wish i get to experience it again.i can eat all i want c/o hacienda lucia.haha.
10. cooking. i love to eat and i love to cook.
11. sunday mass. i do hear mass here but i just miss hearing mass way back home. (because of that catch me i'm collin...haha)
12. basketball. i love basketball and i missed watching the game.it's been months since i last shouted...shot! haha...
13. bumming around. i miss bumming around talisayan.i've been a bummer before i got this job..
14. food. i miss lutong-bahay.

men wear blouses,too.haha...there's this cutie in the office and he is really adorable.i call him urban hunk.i told my friend nadina that the guy is cute and then she said,"what?u find him cute?but he's wearing a blouse..."she was really laughing the whole time.i said it's a polo and not a blouse.well, i must admit that the polo has flowers printed on it.and the print is very dainty...flower power!i think he is straigth and he's just metrosexual...please naman..coz the percentage of straight men is becoming lower and lower.men are becoming endangered species...

a day in a life of a call-girl

this is how my ordinary working day works...
9:00pm: beeeep......beeeep........ owh there goes that alarm clock again... snooze off... then take my last 15 minute nap before getting up
9:15pm: it's time to get up... take a bath ... fix myself...
10:15pm: waits for a ride to the office
10:45pm: arrives at the office and log-in for the DTR...a quick chitchat with the experian people... 11:00pm: get my headset...go to my station and set up my tools
11:15pm: checks out food at the pantry and then eat my breakfast
11:45pm: go back to the station...a lil chitchat with the people around...i blog or bloghop...check my mails...surf the net...and then checks msgs in outlook for any work-related updates... 11:50pm: it's time to refresh my tools...
11:55pm: i'ts time to pray...yeah,i do for me to be able to handle all my calls well and to avoid irate callers.
11:59pm: it's time for my phone log-in... and then puts on headset and then gets ready to take calls...
AVAIL(read:available.it means ur ready to take calls)
12:00mn:calls start coming in... "thank you for calling _____.com. my name is shania. is there a reservation i can help with today?" this is our opening verbiage "have i answered all ur questions? thank u for calling ______.com.have a great day!" this is our closing verbiage and then dadadadadadada...............
2:30am: finally it's my first 15-minute break...finishes documentation especially if it's really queueing, i do have pending docs... checks out food at the pantry and reserves food for my lunch ...i don't usually eat during my 15minute breaks...i just surf the net or check my mails again... sometimes when i'm still engaged in a call, i don't take my break as scheduled. 2:45am: take calls again...
4:15am: at last...it's my lunch break...i'm having my lunch at 4 in the morning...when i first started with this sched, i don't like to eat rice at this time...ew...i don't even eat rice during breakfast before.i just go for bread or anything but not rice.but you'll get used to it.you have to ride the waves of life. then a quick chitchat at the pantry with the people you only know by face. you could make friends easily especially if you see the same person during lunch breaks...and then go back to my station and surf the net...this is what i like...unlimited internet access and i only hate it when clint of the IT department blocks some of the sites.
4:10am: refresh my tools and ready to take calls again...
5:15am: arrgh....i'll take calls again.. if it's not queueing i can chitchat with my teammates...or tindog-tindog to see if my crushee arrives..haha...
7:00am: time for my second 15-minute break...
7:15am: calls again... chitchat or do whatever...tindog-tindog for my vitamin A 9:00am: i use my 10-minute personal break...tindog-tindog again...
9:10am: calls again and hopes that my last call will end at exactly 10:01am... 10:01am: shift ends,it's time to log-out from phone and then finishes pending docs...blog as what i'm doing now,access mugshots and send emails.
10:30am-11:00am: log-out from the office and eat again...or chichat with nadina at e-diner...and stay at our favorite spot outside the office before having a ride home.
11:30am-12:nn: arrives at the bhauz...
12:30pm: it's time to call it a day and then sleep...it's time to rest after a day of work...

that's how my day would end...

God is so good...

i started my day yesterday with too much worry re bhauz thingy,irate callers plus i'm hurting inside... kremil-s didnt work.i still need to get my maxicare card for my check-up... let's forget about the bad things because i'm turning red as an apple as i write this blog. something great happened to me this morning.hahaha.it's very highschoolish but i don't mind.i'm lovin it.hey,my crush sat beside me today.i didnt expect.i was so engrossed blogging that i didnt recognize his presence but something made me turn back...it's the smell...hahaha.i'm drawn to people who smells good.i was stunned and could not speak a word.oh...my God if this happens everyday there's a risk maamang ko.haha. thanks to yen who swapped her RD with me.i jst wished a very cold wind would take effect right now and will freeze us just to catch the perfect moment. wake me up...please ...thank God my friend nadina is not here or else she'll just whisper "he's soon to be married".and then we will both laugh about our kagagahan.hahaha.thank God for making me smile today.

i'm homeless

My boarding house rental will end tomorrow and i need to look for other boarding houses.i had a hard time looking for a nicer one.i'm trying to look for a nicer place than the one i have now.i've seen availabilities but it seems so squatter-ish for me.i don't like it.other bhauzes charges too much,P1500 per person and the room is good for 3-4 persons.i pay P1000 for my present bhauz and it's for 2 persons but the thing is if i'm gonna stay there it would cost me P2000 per month because my roomate went home.i like the place,it's accessible and i learned to like the neighborhood.i'm left with three options(these bhauzes passed mystandards):a. ask my landlady that i will extend my stay and then pay 2T for one month.oh..my God... cinderella's gonna be from riches to rags.haha.b. gamble with the P1500 per person bhauz near golden cowrie and near the office.but the problem is there are no kainan near the bhauz and u have to go out from that small ville.though it's a walkin distance from the office i still need to ride because it's so hot around 10am and i don't wanna have skin cancer.plus too much heat makes me sick.c. settle with the P1500 bhauz in gorordo.the owner is nice,nice house and they only accept working girls.accessible and near ayala.go mallrat...but the room is too small for three people. i'm homeless .... and loveless,too.haha. (never mind)happy valentine's day everyone...well,well,well, i have to continue my journey finding my way back home.haha...

i got my PeopleSupport official ID last tuesday...finally.owh!?!time flies so fast.it's been three months last 2feb since i started here. going back.... i found out through a friend that PS is going to cdo for a JOBS FAIR. i hurriedly printed out my resume and i was so excited and nervous for the said interview,i had some tongue twisters and prepared my "tell-me-something-about-yourself-piece".i passed the interview and the exam as well.i was so nervous come final interview with rommel.i felt like i was a grape being pressed and crushed finely inorder to produce the finest wine.i was totally drained after that interview.thank God i passed.(i guess rommel has a good taste in choosing the best wine.hahaha).so after retiring for a few months of bumhood, i joined PS-cebu.i was hired and relocated from cdo to cebu last 2november.i was very excited and full of spirit knowing that this is my very first job plus the thought of having a relocation allowance makes it more exciting.haha.and then i belong to expedia batch31.it was fun during training and we were just like college studes.we treated each other as classmates and until now i still remind myself that they are my officemates.we were 25 when we started,22 graduated from training and 18 finished academy-bay. kimmy,christian,cyrus,jen,bern,jovie,hanna,kates,pam,JS,TJ and jaeger left PS.it was so sad that they had to leave us.we're gonna miss you guys...well,each of us has its own calling.we're still here holding on with PS.
